Draw your rug
At Mazoul, we believe every space deserves a rug of its own — attuned to its colours, its mood, its smallest details. Here, you become the designer: sketch your pattern, choose your palette, select your fringes. Our artisans then weave it by hand, faithful to your vision.
- Three fixed sizes, all rectangular
- A core colour palette, up to six colours per design
- You draw freehand, directly on screen
- Pile height (high or shorn wool) is an indication, not a true 3D rendering
- Optional fringes — top, bottom or both ends, in the colour of your choice
Choose the size of your rug
Compose your pattern
Click a stroke or shape to select it, drag to move it, use the small round handle to rotate it and the square handle (bottom-right corner) to resize it. For a stroke, line, cross or outline, the Thickness slider also adjusts its width.
Click and drag over a stroke or shape to erase it — the eraser removes the whole element, not just part of it.
A guide only: lighter = higher pile, darker = shorn wool. Not a true 3D rendering — a marker for the workshop.
The dotted terracotta line marks the actual edge of the rug. Beyond it is a comfort zone for your hand — you can draw across it, but nothing is coloured or drawn there.
Finish the ends of your rug
Fringes are the warp threads left free at the ends of the rug once the weaving is done. Choose where you want them — or none at all — then pick their colour. Mazoul fringes are always mixed: strands in the colour you choose alternate with strands of natural white wool, for a softer, two-tone finish.
